Pleased to meet you. Very happy to connect with you.
My background includes work in Japan as a licensed kindergarten teacher (ECE) and as a therapist for autistic adults. In Canada, I work as a Social/Play Skills Specialist and ABA/IBI Therapist for young children with autism (certified as a ABA/IBI therapist from Autism Intervention Training Program at UNB) and other special needs. My Canadian experience includes over 15 years at different autism centres in New Brunswick and Ontario. In 2014, I started my own business dedicated to providing support to kids with developmental challenges and their families.
Currently I serve as the Executive Director of Zanshin Kids Inc., which also operates as “Japanese/Canadian Children Development Services” in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
I am also a licensed Yoga Instructor and Kids Yoga Teacher, having completed Registered Yoga Teacher Training (200 hours) with Ambassador yoga, Children’s Yoga Teacher Training (95 hours) with Young Yoga Masters and Prenatal Yoga (85 hours) with Yoga Truly.
I have also trained in Primitive Reflex Integration (at BRMT) and in Brain Gym, and use these techniques within my practice.
I am a subject matter expert and have delivered presentations as a recurring guest speaker for the inclusion module at the Young Yoga Masters training program.
